Main Characteristics (Click here for a detailed table)
of opening several windows (patterns or icons) at a time and using all the Windows ®
printing and screen resolutions.
to all the most frequently used functions through icons.
simplified handling, owing to easy digitising and editing procedures used.
editing functions which allow (depending on level): Moving, insertion or deletion of
stitches. Copying or deletion of parts of the pattern. Merge or resize patterns. Change
stitch density, carry out rotations or mirrors of the pattern or parts thereof. Insertion
or deletion of functions at any point of the pattern, etc.
generation with easy-to-handle lettering, with a large number of available fonts.
of using images from Twain compatible peripherals (scanner, digital camera, etc.) or any image
file as background.
of doing zoom, screen scrolling, etc. during any other operation.
embroidery simulation (Virtual View) with fabrics or caps as background if desired.
Reading of multiple floppy disk formats (Barudan
FDR, Barudan FMC, Happy, Melco DOS (Exp), Old Melco (Exp), Pfaff, Tajima, Toyota, Pfaff,
ZSK, etc.,) for the introduction of patterns from any source.
Use of any of
the tape readers used in embroidery machines.
Exports embroidery files in many formats.
patterns on hard disk, allowing an appropriate classification as well as visualization of
saved patterns for easy retrieval.
patterns on the most usual disk formats (Barudan FDR, Barudan FMC, Melco DOS (Exp), Old
Melco (Exp), Pfaff, Tajima, ZSK) making it compatible with practically all machines on the
connection to embroidery machines, replacing tape readers or original disk driver units.
floppy utilities: format, duplication, entire loading, pattern(s) deletion, etc.
information on the pattern: dimensions, stitch statistics, thread consumption, embroidery
time, command sequence, etc.
DCII AND DCI DIGITIZING LEVELS
on-screen digitising system.
outline detection on background images (Auto-outline).
of changing the digitised shapes at any time (outlines, runs, etc.), as well as the stitch
generation parameters (density, stitch length, fill effects, etc.) without altering the
generation of underlay stitches, lock stitches, trimmers, etc.
generation of all stitch layers required for appliqué embroidering. (Auto-appliqué).
Background menu allows to import any type of image file or to acquire it through the
scanner, to place it in the screen and to digitise using it as reference. If it is
necessary, you can scale or rotate the original image to adjust it to the real
necessities. To facilitate the digitalisation, you can also modify the contrast, the
bright or the color of the image, or to show it in grey scale or just the shape.
pressing the Digitising icon, the tools by means of which the lines or contours are
introduced are shown. The program will create automatically the stitches. You have only to
choose the stitch type, the tool and the method and in few seconds you will have a block
of stitches that will be able to include backstitching, satin or fill stitches. Each one
in very varied ways in function of the selected parameters.
run stitch can be simple, triple or quintuple (Bean stitch), triangular, in E,
parallel, or to fill a zone with run stitches.... The satin, normal, divided automatically
according to longitude (" Auto-split"), on digitised or programmed blocks("
User-split", " Program-split"), irregular (" Jagged ").... The
fill stitches, can be chosen among a wide palette; mixed with other effects can produce
is always possible to edit the previously digitised areas, moving or adding points, or
modifying the input or output points. You can
also change any parameter and regenerate the stitches to get a different effect or reuse
the area with other parameters. To enlarge, reduce, or change the density, to rotate,
move..., everything is made with a great simplicity.
editing and digitising features, many advantages are readily obtained:
of motifs in a pattern, or in other patterns, without the need for repunching. You will
even be able to create your own catalogues with old patterns.
of work on any type of floppy, without the need to depend on external conversions.
texts to be directly embroidered or included in other patterns.
correction of embroidery problems, such as thread breakages, lack of lock stitches,
inadequate densities or incorrect functions, etc., without the need for outside
interventions, and thus avoiding unnecessary breaks in production.
file patterns in a system of easy access and retrieval.
quotation for work, as pattern characteristics are known quickly and a priori: size,
stitches, color changes, stops, thread consumption, embroidery time, etc.
independence from external punching centres.
discretion about patterns and clients
